Here's how we work toward our vision:
OWEL members are educators, advocates, mentors & friends.
OWEL members provide one-on-one mentoring & support to women struggling with the realities of a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS.
OWEL members participate in health fairs, workshops, conferences & community events at which HIV testing is offered & resources shared to fortify our communities’ response to the HIV pandemic.
OWEL conducts site recruitment for research efforts with major universities and institutions.
OWEL members present their own life stories & the lessons learned to increase HIV awareness & strengthen HIV prevention efforts.
